Doha: The State of Qatar has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the bombing that took place in the Taksim area in the center of Istanbul in the Republic of Turkey and led to deaths and dozens of injuries.
In a statement on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's firm position on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of the motives and reasons.
The statement affirmed Qatar's full solidarity and standing by the government and people of Turkey, and its full support for all the measures it takes to maintain security and stability.
The statement expressed Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims and to the government and people of Turkey, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
