DOHA: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held on Sunday a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Turkey HE Recep Tayyip Erdogan, during which HH the Amir expressed his sincere condolences on the victims of the explosion that took place in Istanbul, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
HH the Amir affirmed that the State of Qatar stands by Turkey and its brotherly people, and its full support for all the measures it takes to maintain its security and stability, reiterating the State of Qatar's firm position on rejecting violence, terrorism, and targeting civilians and innocents.
