Minister of Municipality H E Dr Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie has participated in the ‘Breathe for the Future’ campaign in Ankara as part of the Turkish Republic's celebration marking its National Afforestation Day.
On the sidelines of the campaign, in which trees were planted in all sites affected by the recent wave of fires in Turkey, and to highlight the country’s contribution to confronting climate change and preserving the environment, the Minister met with Turkish Minister of Agriculture and Forestry H E Bakr Bak Demirli to discuss aspects of cooperation in the field of agriculture and food security.
The Minister also met with Minister of Agriculture of Iraq H E Eng Muhammad Karim Al Khafaji, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water of the Republic of Montenegro H E Aleksandar Stijovic and Minister of Environment and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan H E Mukhtar Babayev.
