Al-Wakrah Municipality continues its events and activities for the sustainability week that will officially kick off today and continues until November 19. SAK Holding Group is involved in the official patronage of activities associated with the event, one of which was held on Friday in collaboration with the Municipality of Al-Wakrah, which was a campaign set to clean the families beach in Al-Wakrah.
The event was attended by Eric Chevallier, the French Ambassador, and a members of the French community in Qatar, in addition to a large number of SAK Trading and Contracting Company workers.
Mansour Ajran Al-Buainain, Al-Wakrah Municipality Director, said that sustainability is the overall goal of the municipality and Qatar Green Building Council, everyone is working within the same system for the deployment of all the aspects of the culture of sustainability, especially the communal, by means of spreading awareness and knowledge and to support the spirit of sharing and partnership among all segments of society and its institutions, and in particular the companies of the private sector that have a genuine desire to be an active part in achieving these goals. He thanked SAK Holding Group for sponsoring the activities and especially the campaign for cleaning Al Wakrah family beach.
SAK Holding Group Deputy CEO, Abdul Rahman Al Najjar, stressed that the group is keen on being actively involved in all community services activities and events.
