DOHA: Northwestern University in Qatar (NU-Q) has concluded a career networking event that gave its students and alumni an opportunity to meet Qatar-based media companies.
The event at the Gate Mall was attended by NU-Q and Northwestern University Evanston (NU-E) alumni and Class of 2015. They discussed pressing topics with local companies, including Agency 222, Bloomberg News, Doha Film Institute (DFI), Doha News, Ginger Camel, Qatar TV and Teach for Qatar.
NU-Q participants engaged in speed networking in which they were given two minutes to converse and impress industry leaders, before moving onto the next.
