Doha: Vice-President of the Republic of Costa Rica H E Marvin Rodriguez Cordero and his accompanying delegation visited the National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ), on the sidelines of his current visit to Qatar. He toured the museum’s different exhibition halls which include the beginnings of the geological development of the Qatar Peninsula, its natural environments, monuments and rock inscriptions in archaeological sites, as well as details on the lives of the people of Qatar on land and coasts, and a digital exhibition. He also viewed the most important pieces and collectibles related to pearls and jewellery design, in addition to the galleries of modern Qatari history since the discovery of oil and gas.
