Doha: The Chairman of the Qatari Businessmen Association, Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani (second left), met yesterday with the Presidential Envoy and Minister Responsible for Greece, the Middle East and Africa to the President of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, H E George Hallaq (left), on the sidelines of his official visit to Doha to discuss ways to develop bilateral relations between the two countries.
They discussed and explored possible areas of economic cooperation and investment opportunities, especially with the economic boom that Guyana is witnessing after the oil exploration and the state’s projects to develop its infrastructure and electricity sectors and the availability of investment opportunities.
