QIIB announces final prize winner of Summer Campaign

QIIB has announced the winner of the final prize of its Summer Campaign, as well as three new winners of the weekly prizes.

The campaign, held from August 1 to September 25, 2019, allowed QIIB Visa (Credit and Debit) Card holders to win rewarding cash prizes when using their cards inside and outside Qatar.

Abdulla Ojan Alkhayareen won the final prize for the summer campaign amounting to QR100,000, while Ahmad Al Mulla, Bakhet Al Marri and Nawaf Al Mannai won a cash prize of QR10,000 each during the campaign`s third and final draw, done automatically through an electronic system. The draw was held in the presence of QIIB officials and Visa representative, under the supervision of a representative of the Quality Licenses and Market Control Department at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

The final prize cheque was handed over by Omar Abdulaziz Al Meer, QIIB Chief (Business Development) in the presence of Dr. Sudheer Nair, Country Manager –Visa Qatar and Zakaria Glaoui, Chief (Retail Banking) at QIIB.

Commenting on the summer Campaign, Al Meer said, “We would like to congratulate the customers who have won the weekly cash prizes and the lucky winner of the final campaign prize. This falls, in fact, within our commitment to provide the best offers and opportunities to our customers of all categories”.

He expressed his satisfaction at the success of the summer campaign, noting that the bank will work on future offers, services and products that meet customer expectations.

The winner of the final prize also expressed his satisfaction with the mega win and thanked QIIB for the launch of the Visa cardholders’ summer campaign, allowing him to receive this cash prize.

Al Meer noted that the winner is a long-time customer of the bank, which provides integrated banking services and products a customer aspires.

The campaign allowed each customer, spending a minimum of QR100 inside or outside Qatar using a Visa card (credit or debit), to enter the draw for the weekly prizes.

As for the final prize of QR100,000, the eligible customer should have spent a minimum total amount of QR20,000 during the offer period.

For every QIIB Visa card payment of QR100, the customer got one chance to win, while each payment of the same amount outside Qatar provided him with two such chances.

All winners were selected automatically through an electronic system and under the supervision of a representative of the Quality Licenses and Market Control Department, Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
