DOHA: Aspire Zone Foundation is participating in the sixth edition of Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) career fair, which runs for three days from October 12 to 14.
Aspire Zone Foundation’s participation is in line with its ongoing efforts to encourage Qatari youth to work in sport and develop highly-skilled individuals in the areas of sport, sport science, and event management — with an overall aim of transforming Qatar into a regional sports destination.
Aspire Zone Foundation’s participation aims to highlight the career options and specialities available within the Foundation in an effort to encourage youth to consider career paths in sport and event management.
It also aims to introduce high school and university students and their parents to the working environment they can expect in the Foundation and its member organisations: Aspire Academy, Aspetar Hospital and Aspire Logistics, in addition to highlighting the Foundation’s facilities, projects and leading initiatives, which play a role in fulfilling Qatar’s National Vision 2030.
Commenting on the Foundation’s participation in the HMC career fair, Nasser Ghanem Al Kuwari, Director of Human Resources at Aspire Zone Foundation, said, “The Foundation’s message and scope of work is wider and extends to various areas including sports medicine, sports science and event and venue management. This diversity is what we are keen to convey to students and parents in this career fair and other events, to help them identify their career path. Furthermore, Aspire Zone is a fun family destination that enables the community to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle.”
A number of Aspire Zone Foundation employees are present in the Foundation’s booth throughout the career fair to provide visitors with a full brief on the life and environment at Aspire Zone, as well as current development and progress opportunities on offer.
The HMC career fair is held annually and targets high-school students and their parents, and education and public sector employees, aiming to give them a broader view on the nature of work in the different organisations, learn more about career opportunities, as well as training, volunteering and scholarship programmes.
