Doha: Russians in Doha can partake in the September 17-19 elections to elect new members of the State Duma (the lower chamber of Russia’s Parliament).
There are over 2,500 Russian residents in Qatar, and for all of them, the voting procedure will take place at the Russian Embassy premises in Doha from 8 am to 8 pm on September 17, the embassy said in a statement.
All necessary sanitary and hygiene measures will be implemented to ensure voters’ safety due to COVID-19. The Embassy staff will provide a free face mask to every voter who needs it.
In a statement, the Embassy of Russia in Qatar said every Russian citizen is welcome to the embassy to vote in a friendly and warm atmosphere.
The Russian embassy is located at Area 66, Street 804, Villa 193, Legtaifiya.
