Doha: Students Council Members of Shantiniketan Indian School (SIS) organised a programme under the theme ‘Our Teachers Our Heroes’ to mark Teachers’ Day. 

The students and alumni paid tribute to their mentors on the occasion of the Teacher’s Day. The programme was organised on the Zoom Platform, streamed live on You tube which was witnessed by teachers, parents and alumni members.

Children expressed their gratitude with sheer passion and love. The students from all the sections recorded songs and dances to entertain their teachers. A short video of selfies taken by children with heart warming messages were also played as an expression of love for their teachers.

Principal of Shantiniketan Indian School, Dr. Subhash B Nair expressed happiness at the children coming up so well in spite of all the difficulties prevailing in the world.
