DOHA: Al Rayyan Municipality has begun preparation for forthcoming rainy season to avoid any water-logging throughout the municipality.
The Rainfall Emergency Team at Services Department of Al Rayyan Municipality has cleaned and unblocked many rainwater drainage at key sites to ensure the smooth flow of water, said the Ministry of Municipality and Environment in a statement.
The work on unblocking drainage is continue. The action plan to handle the rainy water is being revised in ordination with the authority concerned to implement the preparation plan for rainy season.
