In charge of the duties of the CEO of Qatar Social Work Rashid bin Mohammed Al Hamda Al Nuaimi and CEO of Rafeeq Abdullah Thamer Al Hamidi exchanging documents after signing the agreement.
Doha: Qatar Social Work affiliated with the Ministry of Social Development and Family, and Rafeeq, the first Qatari company in the field of delivery applications, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the aim of joint cooperation and coordination in the field of providing services to the community.
According to the memorandum, the two parties pledge to provide mutual support and exchange ideas and resources to improve and expand the services they provide to the community. It also includes understanding matters relating to community development and service improvement.
The memorandum was signed on behalf of Qatar Social Work by Rashid bin Mohammed Al Hamda Al Nuaimi - in charge of the duties of the CEO of the Foundation, and on behalf of Rafeeq - Abdullah Thamer Al-Hamidi - CEO of the company.
The MoU includes conducting joint projects in which the two parties cooperate with each other through integrating the target groups of the Foundation’s centers in various activities and events, benefiting from the services provided by Rafeeq in a way that serves the common goals of the two parties.
The agreement will also provide opportunities for community sponsorship and strategic partnership for some of the Foundation’s projects, as well as employing a certain percentage of affiliated centers in the Rafeeq Company annually whose capabilities allow them to work in administrative positions in the company.
On this occasion, Rashid Al Nuaimi said: “This memorandum is an important step to enhance cooperation between Qatar Social Work and Rafeeq, will allow us to provide better services by benefiting from their experiences and resources, which can contribute to improving the quality of services provided to the beneficiaries of the centers, expand the scope of our partnerships, services and reach within society.”
Al Nuaimi expressed that this agreement deepens cooperation between the social and commercial sectors, which can generate new opportunities in the future and contribute to providing better opportunities for affiliates of the Foundation’s centers, considering that cooperation between the Foundation and Rafeeq can become a model for other social institutions and companies.
Abdullah Thamer Al Hamidi, CEO of Rafeeq, expressed his optimism about the signing of this agreement, saying: “We are pleased deepening our cooperation with Qatar Social Work, as it is an important step towards strengthening our societal role and activating fruitful partnerships that benefit society as a whole, and we are all confident that this cooperation will contribute to achieving a positive return for the target groups of the Foundation.
He added: “Rafeeq will spare no effort to harness its capabilities and resources to enhance cooperation with the Qatar Social Work and provide technical and logistical support during events, in addition to employing of number of of the Foundation’s employees and work To further develop their skills.
