Food packages for distribution.
Doha: The Philippine International Institute (PIIQ) organised an outreach programme at the Philippine Overseas Labour Office in Qatar providing food packages to displaced Filipinos.
Annaliza Diet, PIIQ CEO said the outreach is in line with the Eid Al Adha celebrations and falls under the organisation’s Building and Mentoring Program.
The CEO hoped that “the small act of kindness will act as a reminder to everyone that we are not alone in our battles, and that there is always a ray of hope amidst our sadness.”
Food packages were handed to Labour Attaché, H E Adam Musa, Philippine Embassy Charge’ d’ Affaires Consul and First Secretary Cassandra Sawadjaan, Philippine Embassy Social Welfare Attaché, Perlita Panganiban, with Supervisors Carol and Cherry.
The packages include sugar, milk, infant milk, fresh meat, oil, water, food packs, and toiletries, among others.
