A competitor races to finish the puzzle in the pyraminx event at the World Cube Association (WCA) World Championships being held in Melbourne on July 12, 2019.
The World Championships are held every two years and have attracted 905 competitors from around the world competing in 18 different events.
The most famous twisty puzzle is the 3x3x3 Rubik's Cube, invented by Professor Rubik from Hungary in 1974.
