Doha: The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the attack on security checkpoints and a military base in Kunduz province in Afghanistan, causing deaths and injuries.
In a statement yesterday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar’s firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism, whatever their motives and reasons, and affirmed its full solidarity with the Afghan government in all measures taken to maintain security and stability.
The statement expressed Qatar’s condolences to the victims’ families, the government and the people of Afghanistan, wishing the injured speedy recovery.
