DPS-MIS organises Senior School Investiture Ceremony

DPS- Modern Indian School recently organized ‘Senior School Investiture Ceremony 2021-22’ in a digitally pompous way using the Zoom auditorium recently.

It was a solemn occasion where the young talents were all prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted upon them with their commitment, confidence and competence.

The Chief Guest Hassan Chougule, President DPS-Modern Indian School congratulated the new appointees and inspired them to choose not-so-conventional career paths to bring a significant change in the world.

The Guest of Honour, Dr. Rehab Yasir Nainar, alumna DPS-Modern Indian School expressed her heartfelt gratitude towards its alma mater for its contribution in her success story and highlighted the essential attributes of a true leader.

She urged the students to think about new and innovative techniques to tide over the present pandemic situation and serve the humanity. Principal Asna Nafees, complimented the jubilant corps d’elite who have decided to ‘lead by example’ and advised them to think differently, and manifest virtuous leadership skills to create a positive difference around, abiding by the school’s motto ‘service before self’.

The newly appointed Head Boy - Aarav Bedi and Head Girl - Saumya Murgai took oath of office with other appointees and delivered their acceptance speeches.

The virtual ceremony was made stellar by the presence of the Chief Guest Hassan Chougule President DPS-Modern Indian School, Vice President Yasir Nainar, Guest of Honour Dr. Rehab Yasir Nainar, alumna DPS-Modern Indian School, Principal Asna Nafees, Vice Principal Senior Secondary School Soma Bhattacharjee, Vice Principal Senior School Mary Cruz, Vice Principal Junior School Shifa Shaikh and key functionaries.
