Zahira College Colombo Old Boys Association in Qatar will host its inaugural bowling championship on Friday from 6pm onwards at Qatar Bowling Centre (QBC), to give a different summer experience to Sri Lankans here.
It is the first ever bowling tournament organised exclusively for the Sri Lankan community.
A total of 16 Sri Lankan teams will be participating in the tournament. Twenty children will also be competing in two age categories. The organisers are expecting a large number of Sri Lankan families and friends to participate in the event.
The event is powered by Barbican Fusion - Ansari and Aujan Co, and co-sponsored by Al Dar for Exchange Works, Gulf Agency Company, Rastec, Well Care Group, Domasco and Al Naseem Trading and Contracting.
Zahira College Colombo OBA Qatar is a fellowship association that operates under the patronage of the Sri Lankan Embassy in Qatar.
