BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Qatar's Embassy in the Sultanate of Brunei Darussalam has hosted a sports program on the occasion of the National Sports Day.
The program included several activities like beach soccer, volleyball tournaments, running, horse riding, and table tennis.
HE Qatar's Ambassador to the Sultanate of Brunei Darussalam Saleh Mohammed Saleh Al Nesf has asserted the importance and role of sports in society, specially in bolstering noble values, indicating that it is among the standards of popular diplomacy and that it boosts ties between populations.
The grand success of the celebration at the Sultanate of Brunei Darussalam was crystalized in the attendance and participation of the Arab community and Embassy staff along with their families, in addition to staff from other Gulf embassies representing a number of Arab and Asian nationalities as well as locals from the Sultanate.
