Doha: The State of Qatar yesterday participated in the meeting of senior officials for the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), which was held via video conference technology, chaired by H E First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Shahrat Nuryshev.
The State of Qatar was represented at the meeting by Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs H E Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi.
During the meeting, the regional situation was reviewed, and the experiences gained during the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic were discussed in order to continue supporting and strengthening multilateral cooperation, as well as the adoption of the CICA plan for 2021.
