Doha: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI), in cooperation with Nasser Bin Khaled Automobiles, dealer of Mercedes-Benz in Qatar, has announced the recall of Mercedes-Benz ACTROS, and AROCS models of 2019-2020, due to ejection of strike button assembly under pressure from the fire extinguisher in case the fire extinguisher is activated and there is no lock nut.
The recall campaign comes within the framework of the Ministry’s continuous efforts to protect consumers and ensure that car dealers follow up on vehicle defects and repairs.
The Ministry said that it will coordinate with the dealer to follow up on the maintenance and repair work and will communicate with customers to ensure that they carried out the necessary repairs.
