Doha: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education has announced the opening of registration for new Qatari students in government schools. From today, new Qatari students will be allowed to register only through schools, regardless of their geographical area, according to government admission and registration policy.
The registration will continue for two days, June 12 and 13. While the new Qatari students will be transferred through the school for the next two days regardless of their geographical area.
The Ministry of Education and Higher Education has announced the minimum age for admission to kindergarten, pre-school and first grade for Qatari students, citizens of GCC countries and children of Qatari mothers.
The Ministry has identified the documents required for registration, including those for students transferred from private schools to public schools and students from outside Qatar. The Ministry asked those who would like to get more information, about the registration, age of acceptance and documents required, to visit the ministry’s official website.
