Doha: Indian Institute of Quantity Surveyors - Qatar Chapter (IIQS-Qatar), which is associated to Indian Business and Professionals Council (IBPC) under the aegis of Embassy of India in Qatar successfully has conducted its third Continuing Professional Development (CPD) event at Radisson Blu Hotel recently. The said event was attended by close to 60 members and guests.
Vinod Kumar, CEO – Marsh Qatar — delivered an interactive lecture on the topic ‘Risk & Insurance – Nuts & Bolts’ which was followed by a question and answer session.
The lecture comprehensively covered the concept of risk and deliberated on various insurances procured in the Construction industry and beyond outlining the important aspects in selecting the best insurance coverage to reduce the risk and protect the interest of the insured.
Rahul Washikar (IIQS-Qatar CPD Committee member welcomed the attendees and conducted the event.
Vinod Kumar was felicitated by Kiran IIQS-Qatar General Secretary for delivering the lecture.
Anshul Gupta (IIQS-Qatar President) delivered the vote of thanks and informed the attendees that the next CPD 4/2019 is being planned on April 3, 2019 at the same venue.
