Moscow: Moscow will improve quality of the trade and economic cooperation with Beijing, Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said while opening talks with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi.
"The overwhelming development of cooperation with China is a priority of our foreign policy," Lavrov said. "We are aimed at the improvement of our strategic partnership and cooperation, which conforms to the fundamental interests of our peoples."
The minister hopes this year the political dialogue would be not less intensive than it was a year earlier.
"Despite the unfavorable situation in the global economy, China remains our leading trade and economic partner," he said, adding that Russia plans to improve quality of trade and economic cooperation with China.
