Saudi supplies full March crude volumes to Asia buyers

TOKYO: Saudi Arabia, the world's top crude exporter, will supply full contracted volumes of crude oil to at least two Asian term buyers in March, unchanged from February, industry sources familiar with the matter said on Tuesday.

The move was expected as the OPEC kingpin has supplied full contractual volumes to most Asian buyers since late 2009.

"The supplies were as usual," one of the sources said. "We did not receive supplies that were different from what we had requested."

Oil companies that buy Saudi Arabian crude have not requested extra supply and sources in the kingdom say production policy is unchanged - indicating steady output despite a jump in prices to $118 a barrel. (Reuters)
