Los Angeles---Richard Linklater won the best director Golden Globe on Sunday for his coming-of-age movie "Boyhood," as the awards show neared its climax.
Linklater beat Wes Anderson ("The Grand Budapest Hotel"), Ava DuVernay ("Selma"), David Fincher ("Gone Girl") and Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu ("Birdman").
