Ooredoo, the first telecommunications operator in the world to launch 5G, announced yesterday a complete revamp of its bestselling postpaid Shahry and Qatarna packs and add-ons, giving customers more options, greater flexibility and better value than ever before.
First and foremost, all new Shahry and Qatarna packs will be 5G-enabled, meaning as long as customers have a 5G-enabled device, they will be able to access Ooredoo’s 5G network. All customers can access the benefits of new Shahry and Qatarna packs, whether their device supports 3G, 4G or 5G.
Shahry 5G and Qatarna 5G plan subscribers will never run out of data, with the new plans offering endless access to the Internet. Once a customer consumes their full allowance for the month, they will still be able to continue connecting to any network at speeds of up to 20Mbps without further charge.
New Qatarna 5G plans will be loaded with 100 international minutes, so all subscribers can call their family and friends across the globe.
Both new Shahry 5G and Qatarna 5G plans will come with entertainment and lifestyle benefits. Speaking of the new postpaid packs, Manar Khalifa Al Muraikhi, Director PR and Corporate Communications at Ooredoo, said: “While our postpaid packs have always represented excellent value for money with considerable flexibility, the arrival of 5G was the perfect opportunity for us to take a look at what we offer and see where we could give our customers even more than before.
“We’re delighted to launch our new Shahry and Qatarna packs, which will significantly enhance our customers’ experience, giving them more options, more value and more benefits.”
