Doha: Minister of State for Energy Affairs H E Saad Sherida Al Kaabi met President of the Republic of Namibia H E Dr. Hage Gottfried Geingob in in Windhoek, Namibia, yesterday.
Discussions during the meeting dealt with bilateral relations and cooperation between Qatar and Namibia in the field of energy and means of further enhancing such relations.
Discussions also focused on the plans of QatarEnergy, as the largest international working interest holder in the offshore Orange Basin, and its partners, with respect to the recent significant Venus and Graff discoveries, including means to prioritise development and further exploration and address challenges.
Minister Al Kaabi also met with Namibia's Minister of Mines and Energy H E Tom Alweendo yesterday. Discussions during the meeting dealt with bilateral relations and cooperation between Qatar and Namibia in the field of energy and means of enhancing them.
