DOHA: Director of the Doha Municipality Eng. Mohamed Ahmed Al-Sayyed met here Sunday with Mayor of Japan's Shirakawa City Kazuo Suzuki and his accompanying delegation.
The visit comes as part of strengthening bridges of friendship and cooperation between the two sides in areas of municipal work.
It is worth mentioning that Health Control Department of Doha Municipality carried out 425 inspection campaigns on food establishments last September , resulting in the closure of four foodstuff shops and the destruction of 988kg of meat found unfit for human consumption and 27 full sheep
