Doha: Doha Golf Club member Luke Mcguire emerged as the winner of the Megarme Summer League Order of Merit.
Mcguire finished 18 points ahead of runner-up Chung Hoon Kim with a score of 206 points.
McGuire won flight tickets worth QR 10,000 to any destination of his choice.
The Ladies Megarme Summer League Order of Merit Champion was Rachada Fish who finished with 35 points, leaving behind Brenda Hill who scored 29.
Rachada also won flight tickets worth QR 10,000 to any destination of her choice. She was one of only four Doha Golf Club members to play in all 10 of the Megarme Summer League events over the summer.
General Manager of Megarme, Qatar, Alex Lee, said “We are pleased to announce the winners of the Megarme Summer League 2014 and look forward to presenting Luke and Rachada with their prizes. The Megarme Summer League consisted of 10 events of various formats played between the months of June and September with the final event being contested this past weekend.
