Doha: Following the announcement made on September 8 regarding the sale of its Myanmar operations, Ooredoo has stated that the actual financial impact of disposal will be reflected in the financial statements in the quarter in which the transaction is closed, Ooredoo said in a press release published on Qatar Stock Exchange.
The timing of closing will depend on regulatory approvals and the financial impact is expected to be non-material at Group level.
The company does not expect significant financial impact of the sale at the group level.
