Doha: Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs H E Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater met yesterday with Chief of Policy, Knowledge Management and Coordination Branch, United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism (UNOCT) H E Muhammad Rafi Shah.
During the meeting, they discussed means of cooperation between the State of Qatar and the UNOCT in counterterrorism programmes affiliated with the office, in addition to training and developing Qatari cadres and benefiting from the Qataris’ capabilities in international organizations.
During the meeting, Shah praised the State of Qatar’s efforts in countering terrorism and its support of the UNOCT’s programs.
Chief of the UNOCT International Hub on Behavioral Insights to Counter Terrorism in Doha Aynabat Atayeva and Deputy Chief Fahad Jaham Al Kuwari attended the meeting.
