Doha: Minister of Labour H E Dr. Ali bin Smaikh Al Marri met separately yesterday with H E Ylva Johansson, EU Commissioner for Home Affairs, and H E Juan Fernando Lopez Aguilar, Chair of the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice & Home Affairs in the European Parliament, during his visit to the Belgian capital Brussels.
During the two meetings, they reviewed aspects of joint cooperation on issues related to fields of work, and ways to support and develop them.
H E Al Marri stressed the State of Qatar’s continued development and modernisation of labour market laws and legislation and the protection of workers, underlining that the development of the labour environment is not linked to a specific event, but rather a continuous approach in line with Qatar Vision 2030.
