Doha: The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced that part of Al Kassarat Street extending from Roundabout 15 to Roundabout 2 in the Industrial Area will be closed for six months from tomorrow, in coordination with the Traffic Police Department.
Traffic will be diverted to the opposite side of the road which will be expanded to accommodate traffic in both directions, as shown in the map.
The diversion aims to facilitate implementation of the roads and infrastructure development project in the Industrial Area, which will enhance traffic in the area.
Ashghal will install road signs to advise motorists of the diversion.
It has urged road users to abide by speed limits and follow road signs for safety.The Peninsula
