The Ministry of Labour in Oman has announced the Eid holiday for employees in the units of the State’s Administrative Apparatus and other legal entities, as well as workers in private sector establishments.
According to the Oman News Agency, the holiday will commence on Thursday, 29th day of Ramadan 1447 AH, corresponding to March 19, 2026 and will end on Monday, March 23, 2026, with official work to resume on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.
The Ministry of Labour clarified that employers may require their employees to work on the aforementioned days, if necessary, provided that they are compensated for this holiday in accordance with the regulations in force.
