Doha: A number of Covid-19 positive patients who tested positive at private clinics expressed concern that their Ehteraz has not turned red yet or the test is recorded on the app. Meanwhile antigen tests done at PHCC are quickly reflected in the app.
Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) had said that the results of the rapid antigen tests that are conducted in private medical facilities will be reflected on the Ehteraz application from January 10.
Many readers contacted The Peninsula saying their Ehteraz app continues to show green even after testing positive in antigen at private clinics. A few of the staff of this newspaper who tested positive also expressed similar concerns.
A reader wrote, "If private clinic tests are not reflected then there is an increased chance of some people misusing the green Ehteraz."
Many private companies insist on screenshot of red Ehteraz as proof for being Covid-19 positive. And for this reason, some are visiting PHCC to get retested so as to it being recorded in the app.
