Doha: The Indonesian Embassy in Doha in collaboration with the Indonesian Psychologist Community in Qatar (Kompsiqa), Parent’s Support Group (PSG), Dharma Wanita Persatuan, PPI Qatar, Anak Qatar, and the Indonesian Community Association in Qatar (PERMIQA) held a Parents and Children with Special Need’s Gathering.
The activity was held at the Ambassador's residence recently and was opened by the Indonesian Ambassador to Qatar H E Ridwan Hassan.
This activity was attended by dozens of Indonesian families in Qatar who have children with special needs. “Some of these families have children with special needs. Based on our data, there are around 35 Indonesian families have children with special needs. This activity aims to build a healthy support system for them,” said Yunia Chandraresmi, Chairperson of Kompsiqa.
