Sheikh Dr. Khalid bin Thani bin Abdullah Al Thani in a meeting with H E Ranil Jayawardena, United Kingdom’s Minister for International Trade (Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State) in London yesterday.
Doha: Sheikh Dr. Khalid bin Thani bin Abdullah Al Thani met with H E Ranil Jayawardena, United Kingdom’s Minister for International Trade (Parliamentary Under Secretary of State) in London yesterday.
Ranil Jayawardena expressed his happiness with this meeting, during which they discussed investment opportunities and ways to support the business sector in the two countries, in continuation of the visit of the UK Minister to Doha last month.
He stressed that the relations between the business sectors in the United Kingdom and Qatar are prospering and there are great potentials for their development and strengthening in various fields, which will reflect positively on both parties.
On his part, Sheikh Dr. Khalid bin Thani expressed his happiness at meeting H E Ranil Jayawardena, referring to the common desire to activate joint frameworks and increase the pace of cooperation between businessmen and the private sector in the two countries.
Dr. Khalid bin Thani pointed out that the huge volume of investments between the two countries in various sectors reflects the strength of the historical relationship between Qatar and the United Kingdom.
