DOHA: Hassad Food, Qatar’s premier investor in food and agri-business sectors announced yesterday that it would take part in the Fourth Qatar International Agricultural exhibition 2015 (Agriteq), scheduled to open today and will run until November 12 at Doha Exhibition Center.
Supported by Ministry of Environment, this year’s exhibition will see the participation of a large number of major international and local institutions, as well as private companies specialized in the agricultural sector and its products.
Hassad Food’s stand this year will showcase a diverse set of high quality products, from several of its subsidiaries: Hassad Australia will display chilled livestock, and live “Awassi” Syrian sheep, while Hassad Qatar will showcase high quality fodder products. Premium dates and olive oil will be on display from the production of Mahaseel, while Roza Hassad will display a selection of its finest flowers along with fresh vegetables, freshly cropped from its greenhouses in Shahanyia.
Additionally, Senwan Pakistan will display several of its rice brands, whereas Zulal Oasis another subsidiary of Hassad Food will provide visitors with a presentation about its new hydroponics technology, as well as other services that they currently offer.
