RAMALLAH: The Palestinian Foreign Ministry once again warned against the continuation of the international silence regarding the crimes and violations of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people, calling on operating the principle of accountability in line with international laws.
In a statement on Wednesday, the ministry condemned the incitement issued by the occupation leaders to boast military force and insistence on killing Palestinians, referring to the crime of killing the Palestinian martyr Momen Jaber on Tuesday in the city of Hebron in the occupied West Bank.
The foreign ministry stressed that the occupation's crimes transcend governments and aim mainly to annex the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and to Judaize the largest area of it and allocate it as a strategic depth for Israeli settlement, amid the absence of any interest in peace with the Palestinians or resolving the conflict through political means.
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry held the entire occupation state fully and directly responsible for its continuing crimes against defenseless Palestinian civilians, saying that this Israeli persistence reveals the reality of international complicity with the occupation and its crimes against the Palestinians.
These developments come in the context of the continuous escalation practiced by the occupation authorities against the Palestinian people, whether in occupied Jerusalem or the West Bank towns, or from the aggression against the besieged Gaza Strip for three days before a truce was reached on Sunday.
