KUALA LUMPUR: A joint venture including Malaysian power firm Tenaga Nasional Bhd has won a $310 million contract to operate and maintain a power plant in Kuwait.
Tenaga said on Wednesday the 88.9 million dinar contract for the Shuaiba North Co-General Plant was awarded to its unit TNB Repair and Maintenance and Kuwaiti partner Kharafi National.
Tenaga shares ended down 0.1 percent to 8.49 ringgit, underperforming the broader market that rose 0.1 percent. (Reuters)
