Doha: Regency Travel and Tours retained the coveted titles for the 9th consecutive year as the Leading Travel Agency of Qatar and Middle East, at the World Travel Awards 2015 held in Dubai.
In the presence of the travel and tourism industry elite, Regency Travel and Tours was honoured for its outstanding achievements in the sector; not only for the achievements in Qatar but also its contribution to Middle East Tourism sector. Hailed as “The Oscars of the Travel Industry”, the awards are widely acknowledged across the globe as the ultimate travel honours.
Chief Executive Officer of Regency Travel & Tours, Tareq Abdullatif Taha, received the awards from Graham Cooke, President and Founder of WTA. Other prominent members of the Regency team were also present at the event, including Nasiruddin M Shafiq, General Manager of the travel firm. Elated at the achievement, Taha stated, “It is an honour for me to represent Qatar at this platform, and winning Qatar and Middle East Leading Travel Agency Award for the ninth time in a row.
