The Ministry of Economy and Commerce, in collaboration with Modern Home, dealer of Bosch products in Qatar, has announced the recall of the following 2008-2011 models of Bosch Cooker because the gas connection, fitted to the affected appliances, can develop cracks or breaks in certain circumstances, which can lead to a gas leakage.
The devices included in the recall campaign have the model number (E-Nr.) and batch number (FD) on the plate of the appliance.
Customers can check the comprehensiveness of the serial numbers by visiting the link www.gascookingsafety.com or by communicating with the authorised dealer.
The Ministry said the recall campaign comes within the framework of its ongoing efforts to protect consumers and ensure that dealers follow up on products affected by defects and repair them.
The Ministry said that it will coordinate with the dealer to follow up on the maintenance and repair works and will communicate with customers to ensure that the necessary repairs are carried out.
