
DOHA: The Organising Committee of Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference has signed a sponsorship agreement with Fincantieri as the diamond sponsor for DIMDEX 2016, to be held at Qatar National Convention Centre from March 29 to 31.
The fifth edition this year will be held under the patronage of Emir
H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

Fincantieri is a prime contractor with a complete product portfolio, including surface combatant ships such as corvettes and frigates, auxiliary and special vessels and submarines.

DIMDEX 2016 will be the largest specialised maritime naval defence and security exhibition in the Middle East and North Africa. Several new countries will attend along with new exhibitors with latest technologies.
DIMDEX 2016 also sees an expansion in its scope to cover new sectors such as maritime aviation, naval base security, unmanned aerial vehicles, maritime patrol aircraft and coastal surveillance systems.
