•     Some people asked Supreme Education Council to instruct Independent school operators to build waiting rooms near the main gates for students to stay there until their parents come to pick them. They said many students are forced to wait outside their schools for long if parents come late because of their other commitments or traffic jams.
•     Many people demanded that authorities enforce the ban on smoking in public areas. They said people continue to smoke at the entrances of hospitals and other public service places in violation of the ban.
•     There was a suggestion to bring branches of ministries in one complex in areas out of Doha. It was pointed out that many people visit ministries in Doha daily to complete paper work so branches will help them save time and energy.
•     Many people complained about the daily bicycle training programme on the Sealine Road which has only two lanes and the speed limit of 120kmph. They said bicycles create confusion and may cause accidents. So authorities need to find a solution.
•     Some people urged authorities not to issue licences for eateries inside petrol stations or residential buildings as they pose danger to people’s lives. They also stressed strict monitoring of eateries operating in such places.
•     Owners of car agencies complained about ban on parking heavy vehicles in residential areas and said it is causing them heavy losses, may force them to close their businesses in the areas and change their professions. They said they are under pressure from the Traffic Department and subjected to fines. They demanded to be exempted from the ban, saying their showrooms are in these areas and the ban is adversely affecting their sales.
