MES Indian School marks National Sport Day

Doha: MES Indian School (MESIS) Abu Hamour Branch celebrated Qatar National Sport Day  (NSD) virtually with the theme observed this year — “Sport is Life.” 

MESIS aims to promote a healthy lifestyle among its students and staff.

The school conducted sport activities and competitions, including sports quizzes, badminton, basketball, football, and basketball. 

There was high participation and competition among students. Students competed against one another and showed a high sense of teamwork, sportsmanship, and individual brilliance. 

Principal Dr. Mohammed Haneef, while commenting on the importance of the day, said, “To have a sound mind, we must have a sound body first, and to have a sound body, we must engage in sports.” 

Students also shared short videos of their favourite sports moments. 

The sports competitions were conducted by P E teachers Sajudheen and Jibins Jose.
