Gaza: The Gaza Center for Human Rights documented the deaths of 439 Palestinians during the 90 days since the ceasefire agreement came into effect, averaging five deaths per day.
Among the dead were 155 children and 61 women. An additional 1,225 Palestinians were injured, despite the ceasefire agreement being in place since October 10, 2025.
In a statement released today, the center emphasized that these figures reflect a systematic pattern of deliberate killing, not isolated incidents or accidental violations. Israeli occupation forces continue to kill Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip, even under the ceasefire agreement.
The statement added that the occupation forces continue to carry out bombing and demolition operations within areas designated as the "Yellow Line," attempting to render large parts of the Gaza Strip uninhabitable. This is in addition to the repeated targeting of children, women, and shelters.
The center noted that the continued deliberate killing of civilians constitutes a grave violation of the ceasefire agreement and amounts to war crimes and crimes against humanity, and even genocide according to the 1948 Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, particularly in terms of scope, context, and intent.
The ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel came into effect last October, following the Israeli withdrawal from populated areas and military sites in the Gaza Strip and the commencement of the return of displaced persons to northern Gaza, as part of the first phase of US President Donald Trump's initiative to end the war on Gaza.
