Doha, Qatar: The seventh edition of the Qatar International Art Festival (QIAF) is currently underway at Building 12 in Katara Cultural Village, offering a diverse program ranging from interactive workshops and live performances to international art exhibitions, cultural evenings, an art conference, an art fashion show, and an art auction.
This year’s edition features the participation of more than 500 artists from over 70 countries, with more than 75 pavilions showcasing over 2,000 artworks, positioning the festival as a cultural and artistic bridge between nations.
The event provides a unique opportunity for art enthusiasts to explore global artistic trends and creative expressions from around the world.
Running until December 12 under the theme “Sustainability and Innovation in Art,” the festival is open to the public and offers a wide range of activities, including live painting, art workshops, tango dance sessions, and live music performances. On the sidelines, an art auction features works by internationally renowned artists, making it a key destination for art collectors.
This year’s festival mascot, Eraya, symbolizes artistic unity and cultural celebration, reflecting the festival’s mission of connecting tradition with innovation while guiding visitors through their QIAF experience.
Over the years, QIAF has grown into one of the region’s leading platforms for creativity and cultural exchange, where artists from around the world come together, engage in dialogue, and celebrate the universal language of art.
