Doha, Qatar: Under the patronage and in the presence of Minister of Social Development and Family H E Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi, Mada Assistive Technology Centre-Qatar organised the Mada Centre Strategy Exhibition 2026-2028, under the theme “Universal Access”.

This exhibition represents a pivotal milestone through which the Centre invites all members of society to explore a new chapter of empowerment and inclusion through innovation and technology.

The event featured the official announcement of Mada’s new strategy for the period 2026-2028, which outlines the next phase in Qatar’s journey towards universal accessibility.

To mark this occasion, Al Nuaimi emphasised the strategic importance of strengthening the ecosystem of inclusion and accessibility in the State of Qatar, stating, “Promoting inclusion and accessibility is the cornerstone of our national efforts to build a cohesive society where equal opportunities are available to all without exception.

“In Qatar, we continue to invest in innovation, inclusive solutions, and assistive technologies through the pioneering Mada Centre to ensure the active participation of persons with disabilities and older persons in all aspects of life.

“The Mada Strategy 2026-2028 Exhibition embodies a steadfast national commitment toward a more just and inclusive future, contributing to advancing development in alignment with Qatar National Vision 2030”.

CEO of Mada Centre, Maha Al Mansouri, affirmed that the exhibition constitutes a qualitative milestone in advancing universal accessibility in Qatar, saying, “Our upcoming strategy reflects our unwavering commitment to building an inclusive future driven by innovation and partnerships to achieve universal access for all.

“We welcome all community members, partners, and innovators to participate in the Mada Strategy 2026-2028 Exhibition and help shape the future landscape of empowerment and universal accessibility in Qatar”.

Mada’s new strategy is inspired by the ambitious vision “Universal Access”, and a mission centred on empowering persons with disabilities and the elderly to enjoy a high quality of life through accessible services and solutions, while strengthening a comprehensive accessibility ecosystem.

The strategy is grounded in a set of institutional values that include people-centric, empathy and rights advocacy, innovation acceleration, community partnership, quality, and sustainability, ensuring that assistive technology becomes a practical tool for opening pathways to education, employment, and social participation for all without exception.
