DOHA: The authorities have issued a stern warning to hotels in the country against employing women to do massaging on their male guests, Al Sharq reports.
The warning came in response to a report published by Al Sharq recently about some hotels resorting to such practices in violation of the rules.
The report that appeared with pictures of women massaging men led to a huge public outcry, said the daily.
The authorities have now asked all hotels to strictly comply with the law as well as the traditions of the country.
They have been warned of stern action if found violating the rules, said the daily. As per the rules, men and women have been banned from doing massage on the opposite sex.
